A paradise of culture<\/strong>, to be explored and experienced with passion.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n This is one of the historic buildings of Fiesole, which began as the convent <\/strong>of San Michele a Doccia in 1413.<\/span><\/p>\n Significant transformations took place from 1808, with the Napoleonic suppression of the convent, when the building became a private villa owned by the Cuccoli Fiaschi family, who created the front garden<\/strong>. In 1900 it was purchased by wealthy American Henry White Cannon. Later, in 1952, due to damage caused by World War II, the mansion was converted into a hotel<\/strong> by Frenchman Monsieur Teissier.
