Villa Montececeri
Via Corsica, 56 Fiesole
The property is on the slopes of Montececeri, where archival documents attest that Leonardo da Vinci owned an olive grove and conducted his early flight experiments with machines of his invention there.
The main attraction of the villa is its large private park spanning 16 hectares, characterized by a wide variety of plants, including pine trees, cypresses, oaks, holm oaks, arbutus trees, brooms, and a variety of flowers such as wild orchids, cyclamens, anemones, and musk roses.
In the 1950s, the architect Pier Niccolò Belardi designed the English garden and the pool carved into the living rock.
