Choose the transportation option that best suits you to reach Fiesole.

Thanks to the proximity to Florence, Fiesole is well connected with national and international train stations and airports

by Train

From Florence Santa Maria Novella Station, walk towards the terminal of bus 7 at “Stazione Nazionale – Largo F.lli Alinari.” Buses depart approximately every 20 minutes from 6:00 AM to around 12:30 AM. Get on bus number 7 to Fiesole and get off at Piazza Mino.

From StazioneCampo Marte Station, cross the footbridge and reach the “Fanti Stadio Ridolfi” bus stop. From there, you can take bus number 10 (towards La Pira) or number 20 (towards Caruso). Get off at the “Mille Pacinotti” stop and go to the “Mulino Biondi” stop on Via Pacinotti. From there, take bus number 7 to Fiesole – Piazza Mino.

From Firenze Rifredi Station, go to Piazza Dalmazia at the “Dalmazia” stop, take Tramway line T1 (towards Villa Costanza). Get off at the “Strozzi-Fallaci” stop, go to the “Lavagnini Fortezza” stop, and take bus number 7 (towards Fiesole).

From Piazza Mino, you can take bus number 7 towards “Stazione FS SMN – Fiesole.”

The A1 motorway has several exits for Florence, providing access to Fiesole:

From the South: take the Firenze Sud, exit andcontinue on the bypass via M. Polo, keeping the left lane until the traffic light, turn left onto Lungarno Aldo Moro and follow the road signs for Stadio/Fiesole.

From the North: take the Firenze Nord, exit andcontinue on the ring roads towards the city center, then follow the road signs for Stadio/Fiesole.
Barberino del Mugello Exit: continue towards San Piero a Sieve, Borgo San Lorenzo, Polcanto (via Faentina), Vetta alle Croci, Fiesole.

The Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport is about 5 km from the city center and you can reach it by taking Tramway Line T2 (towards Unità),get off at the terminal and head to the bus terminal for line 7 at “Stazione Nazionale – Largo F.lli Alinari.” Bus number 7 to Fiesole departs approximately every 20 minutes from 6:00 AM to around 12:30 AM. Get off at Piazza Mino. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle service operated by Sita/Ataf Vola, which connects the airport with Santa Maria Novella Station. Tickets can be purchased on board, at the airport bar, and at all Ataf points of sale. The journey takes about 25 minutes. From Santa Maria Novella Station, follow the instructions to reach Fiesole provided earlier.

Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport is about 80 km from the city center. It is connected to Santa Maria Novella Station in Florence by train and shuttle bus services.
