Cavallini Study Center

Sauro Cavallini, an artist and sculptor, , was born in La Spezia in 1927 and later moved to Fiesole to spend the last years of his life. In his home studio, he dedicated himself to compiling his own bibliography. In 2017, at the request of his daughter Aine and son Teo, the Cultural Association Centro Studi Sauro Cavallini was founded with the aim of promoting the activities of their father at a national and international level, as well as recreating a place for cultural and artistic events, exhibitions, and workshops..

The home studio provides an opportunity to closely explore the sensitivity and artistic knowledge of the master, showcasing his drawings, paintings, and preparatory sketches in ink and tempera on paper or wood.​​
