Villa Peyron

Villa Medici

Visiting Fiesole also means visiting its villas, and getting to know the Villas of Fiesole means reliving the historical period of the Medici era. Villa Medici, also known as Villa Belcanto, is one of the most well-known Medici villas, alongside Careggi, Cafaggiolo, and Il Trebbio. Villa Le Balze

In Via Vecchia Fiesolana, known for its wonderful and picturesque panoramic views, you will find Villa Le Balze, another symbol of Fiesole. Designed in 1912 by architects Cecil Pinsent and Geoffrey Scott in the neo-renaissance style, it was born from the desire of Charles Augustus Strong, an American philosopher, and psychologist who, in the early 20th century, decided to move to Fiesole with his daughter Margaret after the death of his wife Elizabeth Rockefeller.

Villa la Torraccia

In via delle Fontanelle, near the Convent of San Domenico, you can admire Villa La Torraccia, which is now home to the prestigious Music School founded in 1974 by Maestro Piero Farulli (1920-2012), an internationally renowned musician.

Maiano’s farm

The Maiano farm is a place where nature, culture, and history come together in perfect harmony, a place for those who love to immerse themselves in a bucolic dimension and experience educational and relaxing moments in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
